Out and About With Caster Cares.

“We do care; we are here to help. We are all one big family.”
– Travis Foster, Caster Concepts
Being a good corporate neighbor is and always will be the main driving force behind Caster Cares. The City of Albion has always been the home for Caster Concepts. It’s also where our employees live and raise their families. Together, we have grown into the company we are today. That’s why we are always excited to find new ways to celebrate and share with our employees and the community.
Recently, it was free movie night at the local Bohm Theater for all Caster Concepts employees and their families. To help support the reopening of Albion’s Historic Bohm Theatre in July, CCI provided tickets to our families so they could attend a showing of “Black Widow” and enjoy a bag of popcorn this weekend. And, as part of our initiatives with Innovate Albion, summer youth classes have begun, including Kids Who Code (class fees paid for Caster Concepts employees’ kids) and Introduction to CAD classes.
Free Vaccines were a shot in the arm for better health for the community. In May, vaccines were available for employees and their families, plus walk-ins from the local community. What a fantastic turnout! A big ‘thank you’ goes to Oaklawn for providing and administering each dose. A follow-up in June with more free vaccinations was also incorporated.
In honor of Employee Appreciation Day, we took a little time earlier this year for a company-wide luncheon. We have an incredible group of people that make our success possible each day. Thank you for your dedication and hard work. And speaking of incredible, our Community Liaison Caroline Hurteau sat down with our Director of Sales, Doug Backinger, to get to know who he is beyond the casters!
